Sourcing & Processing
Miller Bustos is the owner of El Mirador, a small farm in Acevedo, Colombia. In the last seven years, Bustos has turned the focus of his farm’s production to specialty coffees with the hope of capturing better premiums and stable prices by appealing to high-end roasters. Thanks to these premiums, he has invested in better infrastructure for the farm and developed a new washing and drying process.
El Mirador sits on 3 hectares and is located in Acevedo, a town in the Huila Department. Huila is one of Colombia’s most productive coffee-producing regions and is known for its varied geography and climate, while maintaining consistently sweet, clean and bright coffees year after year.
