Each of these Red Rooster Tea cups is handmade in Floyd, VA by our good friend, Hona Knudsen. Comfortable and warm for your favorite beverage. This cup features a shiny gold glaze with the Rooster's feather on one side and Red Rooster Tea on the other in a dark teal decal. As a handmade product, variations in color tone and size may vary slightly.

About the Artist

Hona Leigh Knudsen moved to Floyd Virginia In 2009 to begin a 3 year apprenticeship with renowned 16 Hands potters Richard Hensley and Donna Polseno. Hona’s work is wheel thrown porcelain pottery that is fired to cone 10 in a gas reduction kiln. Each piece is intended for use in the home and kitchen. Her influences are both traditional and contemporary, with a strong influence from Asian pottery in her forms as well as her glazes.
